On a cold winter morning at -2°C, my dad and I took a bus and then hiked about 10 kilometers to reach a remote lake just outside the city.
I inflated my kayak, and we enjoyed the peaceful
atmosphere - thick fog, freezing air, and complete
silence. I kayaked for about one hour, fully taking in the beauty of winter nature. After that, we packed everything up and headed back home.
A few days later, I caught a cold and got sick - but
