Watchin' Movies & Dyin' Inside: "The Adventures of Pluto Nash" (2002) Sci-fi/Comedy/Adventure

I watch another movie and see whether or not it's amazing or if I start dying inside. Today's feature: 2002's "The Adventures of Pluto Nash", directed by Ron Underwood. Eddie Murphy stars as the titular Pluto Nash, an ex-con turned nightclub owner who finds himself involves in some wild hijinks involving gangsters, a beautiful woman in distress, a schemes upon schemes, orchestrated by a mysterious criminal mastermind.

It's set on the moon, though. That's the gimmick. In the year 2087. And the criminal mastermind mentioned above -- his name is "Rex Crater". Because it's the moon, you see.

Despite the setting and a first-rate cast, it's actually pretty boring. And one of the biggest box office failures of all time.
