I normally share these forecasts on Wednesdays, but with a weather system moving through Montana, I wanted to provide a quick update.
Today’s forecast recaps Thursday’s system, with colder air holding on through Friday—especially across eastern and northeastern Montana. As we head into the weekend, temperatures begin to climb as high pressure rebuilds, but that warming trend comes with increasing wind. Some areas could see gusts over 40 mph, with isolated gusts near 50 mph.
Looking ahead to next Wednesday, forecast models are hinting at another system strong enough to push over the mountains, bringing the potential for colder temperatures and a chance of snow.
