Some love them. Some absolutely roast them. The Shure SE215 — the most used (and most hated) in-ear monitor on the planet. So... are they actually that bad?
In this video, Rob Craft from A Minor Error dives into a full real-world review of the Shure SE215, after using them for over four years of teaching, recording, and performing. From comfort and sound quality to durability and isolation, this is a no-BS look at whether these $100 in-ears still hold up in 2025.

💀 FINAL THOUGHTS
The Shure SE215s aren’t perfect — they’re mid-heavy, a bit bulky, and the cable can be annoying — but for $100, they’re ridiculously solid. Flat response, great isolation, and surprisingly durable. Whether you’re gigging, teaching, or recording, they’re a killer entry point (and great backup set) for any musician.
