Al-Halīm (ٱلْحَلِيم) – The Forbearing 🌙

This is one of the songs in my ongoing Music Epic: 99 Trance Songs for the 99 Names of Allah — plus two special compositions dedicated solely to the Name Allah itself.

Each piece is crafted as a sonic meditation on a Divine Attribute — a journey of remembrance, tranquility, and inner awakening.

Al-Halīm is the Name of the One who is infinitely patient, endlessly gentle, and forbearing with His servants — the One who delays punishment out of mercy, gives space for repentance, and meets human faults with divine calm.

Qur’an 35:45
وَلَوْ يُؤَاخِذُ ٱللَّهُ ٱلنَّاسَ بِمَا كَسَبُوا۟ مَا تَرَكَ عَلَىٰ ظَهْرِهَا مِن دَآبَّةٍ
وَلَـٰكِن يُؤَخِّرُهُمْ إِلَىٰٓ أَجَلٍ مُّسَمًّىۚ
فَإِذَا جَآءَ أَجَلُهُمْ فَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ كَانَ بِعِبَادِهِۦ بَصِيرًۭا

“If Allah were to take mankind to task for what they have earned, He would not leave a single creature upon the earth.
But He grants them respite until an appointed term.
And when their time comes, surely Allah is All-Seeing of His servants.”

Duʿāʾ (Supplication):
ٱللَّهُمَّ ارزُقنا حِلْمَكَ ولُطْفَكَ، واجعلنا من أهل الصبر والرِّفق، ولا تُؤاخِذْنا بما نَقُصِّرُ فيه.
“O Allah, grant us a portion of Your forbearance and gentleness.
Make us among the people of patience and mercy,
and do not hold us accountable for our shortcomings.”
