This is day 43 of our world cruise. After 7 days at sea it was nice to get out and walk around a bit. Mauritius has the distinction of being the home of the extinct Dodo bird. The Dodo probably evolved over thousands of years and was completely wiped out within a hundred years after the arrival of humans.
