We went on an overnight kayak camping trip to the eastern part of NC. We were on the Roanoke River. We put in at Williamston boat dock and stopped for the first night at the Conine camping platform which we rented through Roanokeriverpartners.org. We had a fun time, having the platform have a roof and be screened in was great for the storms that came through on Friday night. The guys did have to fight off some giant spiders for us but, we were in the wilderness so what did we expect, lol. We had a blast though, definitely recommend.
