This video describes the boring and facing head which I made some time ago. The design is based on that by Graham Meek in his book "Projects for your workshop - Vol 1" ISBN 1 8576 1 140 3.Graham's original design is smaller than this one and at the time of making, I wasn't confident that I could produce work to a sufficiently high standard and accuracy to faithfully reproduce his design. I therefore increased the size of the head by approximately 50% and altered the drive mechanism to a different method which I considered that I could produce. It works, but it's nowhere near as good as Graham's!
There are a couple of errors in the audio description - I put it down to a combination of old age and brain fade!
