Replaying Red Dead Redemption today is honestly astounding as it still holds up extremely well even 13 years later. Along with a deeply personal narrative that held up a mirror up to our own society, it included a stunning open world packed with detail throughout. Quite frankly in 2010, it was rare for a mainstream game to tackle big issues like Red Dead did.

Throughout this review we'll look at why Red Dead Redemption was a landmark moment in gaming, focussing on the narrative, open world, presentation and more. I'll talk about everything I loved about the game, including missions and RPG mechanics, and a few areas I think it could be improved.
