The SR-71 and the U-2 Spy planes have been my favorite aircraft since I was a kid. Now, I get to go and see these amazing birds firsthand at Beale Airforce base in Yuba City, California. The bonus? I was invited to the "Maintainers Reunion" where I got to meet some of the pilots, maintainers, and officers of these programs. Yes, I was a kid in a candy store!
