Soft Ensaymada
✔️Dough
1 cup [240 ml] fresh milk
1 whole egg
1/4 cup [50 grams] granulated sugar
2 tsp [6 grams] instant yeast
2 & 3/4 cups [352 grams] bread flour
1/2 tsp salt
2 tbsp [30 grams] butter / margarine
✔️Buttercream
1/2 cup [115 grams] softened butter (or margarine)
1/4 cup [50 grams] granulated sugar (or icing sugar)
150-200 grams shredded cheese
⁉️Every flour absorbs liquid differently, so if your dough mixture turned out too wet & sticky or seems impossible to knead, may add up flour.
1st proofing: 1 hour
2nd proofing: 30 mins. (can proof up to 1 hour for more airy texture)
