We usually plant sweet potatoes in planters outside, which we will still do, but I am planting some in a 5 gallon bucket to see what kind of harvest we get from it, just in case moles get to our other sweet potatoes again.
Planting in a 5 gallon bucket also helps us get a head start on the season since we usually plant them in June.
