Hej! Swedish rock royalty The Hives are guest programming rage this weekend!

It’s been two decades since the Nordic five-piece last hosted the show back in February 2005, and we finally said “Enough is Enough, it’s time to get those dapper Swedes back in the studio!”. Luckily for us (and you), they recently returned to Australia and jumped on the red couch while they were here.

Marking their first visit down under in ten years, the guys were in town to kick off a world tour in support of their newest album, The Hives Forever Forever The Hives. Released last week, it’s the seventh studio album for the band and comes almost 30 years after their 1997 debut LP Barely Legal which launched their long-standing career as one of Sweden’s top musical exports, and best-dressed bands in the industry - a title they were officially awarded at the NME awards in 2003.

Now, four-fifths of The Hives are bringing their suave style to rage this weekend to line up a playlist that you don’t want to miss, so tune in because we’d Hate To Say I Told You So.
