Many thanks to @UnikeysOfficial for sending these switches out for a review. I'm sure these are on some peoples radar on pick-ups, and I'm glad i can finally share my review on the Wingtree Light Brown Tactiles. Let's get straight into it!
With the Wingtree light brown tactiles, I did report things to @UnikeysOfficial on the switches chattering, and I was informed I received a prototype batch and that the in stock variants should not experience any of these issues. With the chattering I was experiences, there was nothing out of the ordinary that looked to be the culprit of things. After putting the switches back together most of the chattering I was experienced had gone away. Previously I could not use these switches as typing would experience far too much chattering, but now we're currently using them to type up this description and we're doing lightyears better. With the chattering being resolved, I can easily and safely recommend these for others to purchase as they're extremely comfortable and offering a pleasant typing experience.
These switches to come offered with 10 switches in a pack, with each pack costing $3.50 for the factory lubed variants. If you're looking to get them with a little bit more tlc, you can always opt for the hand lubed, with single-stage 24mm TTC springs. In my opinion, I find the factory lube variants to be sufficient as the lube job is done consistently, with a comfortable feel on the typing experience. Although hand lubed, with spring swaps at 24mm with TTC springs also sounds pretty nice as well when its $3.00 more per pack.
The feel of these switches are insanely comfortable. With the chattering gone, I decided to toss these back in the Neo 75 Cu to really get a feel for things. The switches do offer a very small tactile bump which is honestly right up my alley along side with switches like the K01s from HMX, Cookies n Cream from Dangkeebs, and Lavender Purples from Akko. With a smaller tactile bump, it still provides the feedback with a tactile switch, while keeping the typing experience extremely comfortable for longer periods of typing. With the bottom outs there is no harsh, or mushy feelings coming from the factory lube variants.
The sound of these switches are extremely pleasant. While they may not actually be as scratchy as Cherry MX Browns, I do feel like they're a great alternative option when considering the fact these switches are factory lubed, quite consistently. The sound of these switches definitely seem to have their own sound going if you ask me, similar to how the Yuying linears did. High pitch and clacky with some subtleties in the scratch department. They have a certain fullness to them in a way, even when considering the light tactile aspect of things.
In conclusion, I feel the Wingtree Yuying light brown tactile switches are a great option if youre looking to grow the tactile selection of things. While these come in on the lighter end of the spectrum, they make for some great all day typing, or long gaming sessions. While the pricing on things factory lubed comes in hand with most of the other switches offered today, it's nice to see that they also offer a variant of hand lubed, with spring swaps. The fact that these switches are also extremely consistent without any signs of switch chattering makes these switches an easy choice when looking for your next set of Tactiles!
