My 1,485th kite video. For those who found my video on reels useful, here's how I tie down my kites the simple way. This is a slightly revised version (with captions now included) of a video I made years ago, but I still use exactly the same system. Some people use more complex systems to anchor kites, but for me this works every time and has never failed. I use sand anchors rarely these days because of trouble with dogs peeing on them - dog owners here tend to be quite irresponsible..
