Shafer Trail, Moab On A Heavy Adventure Bike (KTM 790)

Thinking of riding the Shafer Trail but a little unsure about what it's like?
This is an almost RAW & uncut video of my morning on the trail. It was filmed on 4th October 2024. This video is intended as a reference to give you an idea of what the trail is like and if it's something you can ride.

For the most part, it's just a dirt road, but it does have some sections that may be a little tricky for beginners. If you are still unsure, then take a friend and support each other.

It's a beautiful trail with incredible views all the way along it and well worth a ride.

Warning!
Please take note of the current weather when you plan to ride, pop into the Visitors Centre in Moab for up-to-date trail conditions, and take plenty of water!
