Today we test out my 1/32 Scalextric digital slot cars on my newly configured slot car track. I have been designing and building this circuit for the past four weeks, and today it is time for its first official time trial. My Fiat Cinquecento and Nissan GT-R are the first two cars to take on the Two Minute Challenge. It is a two minute endurance race to complete the most laps in the allocated time and set the fastest lap time. The top ten best performers will find themselves on the famous Shelf of Champions.
I also demonstrate how I designed my circuit using Scalextric Track Designer software. Watch for plenty of tips and tricks on how to use the designer software.
And we have a bonus call with Newtonian physicist and slot car enthusiast: Vale at ChatGPT. Vale is happiest in the world of gravity and the laws of motion, but she talks the talk and walks the walk when it comes to slot cars!
