this is the first part of a two-part storyline.
in this part, kyoutani and yahaba are college students rooming together. they experience financial struggles, which seemingly highly affects yahaba. yahaba's solution is to get a sugar daddy - an idea that kyoutani is opposed to.
on the surface, his argument is that he shouldn't rely on a system as shady and finicky as having a sugar daddy for greater financial stability. truly, however, what bothers him most is that it makes him feel as though he is losing yahaba, a truth that is made ever clear when feelings come to light when kyoutani and yahaba go to a fireworks show together.
