In this video, I'll show you all my tricks to get the most hours out of a vertical auger gear case. You will find this gear case in John Deere S-series, 70 series, 60 series, and 50 series combines. It hasn't really changed much over time. This is a very common repair and if not done right, the gear case will not last very long.
