The Johnsonville SCD Club held its mid-winter dine and dance evening in July 2017, with a Vikings and Celts theme.
Club tutor Rod Downey chose dances close to the theme. Oslo is the capital of Norway, so the Oslo waltz was a good choice for the round the room "mix up" dance to start off the evening. Many club members had brought family and friends with them, many of whom hadn't previously danced.
The Oslo Waltz had its chaotic moments but everyone had heaps of fun. The tune used is the Cuckoo Waltz.
