Reflectors are good for safe cycling at nighttime but nothing is better than a properly working LED tail light. The front light is important, but getting hit from behind is something a rider will never see coming. I was always worried if my tail light was really on, and is its battery still OK? With this passive status monitoring invention, worries can be put aside as you'll continuously know that the tail light is indeed on. Since it's totally passive there it can only fail safe. Practically invisible and added weight is negligible.
