The Sarfaranga desert is famously known as the high altitude cold desert. Its a wonder of the nature located at a height of 7500 ft or 2200m. Surrounded by mighty peaks of Karakoram Range, the white sand dunes give you a feeling of euphoria and awe. Just few kilometres away from Skardu City in Baltistan region ( Northern Pakistan), Sarfaranga is also famous for its annual Jeep Rally where drivers from all across the globe take part in this thrilling race at top of the world. I shot this video with DJI Mavic Zoom in September 2019 before Coronavirus made our lives miserable. Its a must visit during your trip to Skardu. Don't forget to witness mesmerising sunset from one of the san dunes. Its heavenly.😊
