Robot voice narrates over images of exhibition from NYC newspaper review of the show titles: ‘HOW TO CATCH A TIME TRAVELLER’ New York/ 2010. The name is unknown of the gentleman who performed at the opening night. The most I can recall is that I had met him playing the same song several days prior to the exhibition launch somewhere between 5th Avenue and the lower east side. On that day along with taking a Polaroid of him standing next to a child in a karate outfit I propose that he play at my show and that I would pay him favourably for his time. He showed up and did a great performance. If you look into his eyes during the close uoö, it is clear that he is in a moment of trance, when he’s really in that zone, when his eyes are rolling back. This is where we can really see what music is made of.
