A beautiful weather window appeared in mid-march with light winds high into the atmosphere. So the time came to finally get my ass all the way on top of Mt. Hood. It took a village to lend me gear and huge shout to my brether from another mother Eric Parker for joining me on this mission.
Forecast was for light South wind. However we had a good bit of NE on the summit, I waited it out for a while and ended up taking a lull in lee side conditions. These speed wings come overhead so well that it felt great. I couldn't do my original flight plan to really buzz the ice pillars up high, but I still had an amazing flight from the top of Oregon right back to the truck at Timberline. Enjoy some footy!
