In this tutorial, I'll show how to paint a Red Eyed Tree Frog in acrylics. This painting is all about how to paint vibrant, bright colours in acrylics. This can be tricky to do especially if the paint is naturally more transparent. To achieve the bright colour saturation, the layering process is really important. We can't just put a vibrant colour in place and expect it to show up. It needs the right foundation to be effective. I've shared some tips an techniques for painting realism in acrylics which can be transferred across to any other painting =).
