✅ Phagocytes and lymphocytes are two types of white blood cells that work together as a team to get rid of foreign material that enter the body such as bacteria and viruses (pathogens)
✅ Lymphocytes recognize foreign antigens on the surface of cells or virus particles and release antibodies to tag them. By tagging these pathogens, they make it easy for the phagocytes to identify them.
