Hiked to Mountain McFarlane on Wednesday September 1 2021.
Mountain McFarlane has everything forest, stream beautiful lakes. It can be done in one day hiking, but its recommended for overnight if you truly want to connect with the nature and enjoy spending more time out.
The first 3km is brutal and steep forest of about 600 elevation or so. Then continue hiking toward the stream where new log bridge was built. Pierce lake of about few km after you passed the stream of moderate elevation. Then after there a beautiful meadows welcomed you from wild flowers waterfall...
