I Made DIY Magic Jumping Beans

In this episode of Kate’s Inspiration Station, we’re creating our very own “jumping beans” using everyday supplies and a little movement magic. It’s a craft-meets-science activity that’s full of surprise, energy, and hands-on fun.
🎉 This one’s inspired by real-life jumping beans (yep, they’re real!).

If you would like to prepare in advance for this episode, here are the supplies needed and a few tips from me. Close adult supervision is always required.

What you need:
Marbles
Aluminum foil
Highlighter (or similar-sized pen)
Small container with a lid

Instructions:
Cut a small rectangular piece of foil.
Wrap it loosely around the end of the highlighter to form a tunnel shape and seal one end.
Drop the marble inside the tunnel.
Seal the other end of the foil so the marble stays in, but can still roll inside.
Place your “bean” in a small container and gently shake.
Remove from the container and watch it bounce and tumble just like the real thing!
