These are old school smash burgers, cooked to perfection on the Blackstone Griddle. The key to a good smash burger is to make then thin, and to cook on pretty high heat to get a good crispiness to the patty. This is why the Blackstone griddle is perfect for cooking smash burgers. If done right, and at the right heat, it doesn't take long (maybe 2-3 minutes per side). I like mine with chopped onions and melted cheese. Toast the bun and you are ready to go.
