AI Tools Tested for Genealogy Facts

Carole conducted a genealogy AI face-off to test Claude and Chat GPT's ability to extract key genealogical facts from historical documents. She used the case study of Thomas Hugh Savage and provided both AI tools with the same set of documents. The first prompt asked both AI tools to extract birth, marriage, and death dates for Thomas Hugh Savage and his immediate family. The results were then compared. Next prompt asked to extract all locations associated with Thomas's life, in chronological order.
