Raimais is an interesting maze game by Taito Corp., where an apparently simple, dot-eating game design is enriched with various enemies, powerups, secrets, and an Arkanoid-ish appealing look (Akira Fujita was designer in both games). The game is composed of 32 Rounds that can be chosen by player, one by one, between 4 different routes based on exit direction (North, West, South, East); there are also warps and Insect Boss fights that you can take, along with multiple endings. (Which will be the ending for this replay? Will Rika save her kidnapped brother?)

Your car, the Organizer, is designed to never stop running, so it's tricky to pause and whenever you face a wall, you'll automatically turn. Player can make use of a throttle button to regulate speed (which I keep pressed almost always). Rounds are filled with energy plates (the dots) that can be cleared by running over them once, or 2 to 5 times if they are gray.
Beneath some energy plates, powerup tiles can be found. All the picked powerups are dropped/reset once you enter a new round.
S Slows down enemy cars temporarily.
A grants you an Armor, up to a maximum of 4. (fact: the colors order for armors in Raimais is used also for auras in Kuri Kinton)
L enables your Laser shot, up to a maximum of 4 shots on screen.
B Breaks randomly the exits on a side.
C Crashes all energy plates once (meaning that colorful plates are cleared and gray plates are weakened or cleared).
P is a Player extend. (found only in Round 17 Red)
R stands for Rainbow, and can either end the round by clearing all plates, or grant you 15 Armors; which of the effects, that's random.
O opens an Other Route where you can find a Mecha-insect boss. Once you defeat the boss, you will advance to next Round which belongs to the same route as previous. (e.g.: defeating boss of Round 3 Green brings you to Round 4 Green)
Defeating an insect boss, you will encounter a fellow named Gun Can who may grant you special powerups, or not. Permanent speed boost, a Light Mirror, uncovering all powerups next round, temporary invincibility, etc.
This game also allows warps to skip 4 Rounds at a time, that can be used by simply not dying.

Exception made for first round that can't be chosen, all following rounds are Red, which can be entered by always going through North exit.
For the sake of completing all 32 rounds, a death was taken on purpose in the first 4 rounds to skip all warps.
