The 20633/20634 Kasaragod - Thiruvananthapuram Vande Bharat Express (via Kottayam) is India's 15th Vande Bharat Express train, connecting Kasaragod with state capital Thiruvananthapuram in Kerala. The train service was officially inaugurated on 25 April 2023 by Prime Minister Narendra Modi at Thiruvananthapuram Central. As of July 2023, it is the best-performing Vande Bharat Express train service with an average occupancy of 183 per cent, according to official data.
This train is operated by Indian Railways, connecting Kasaragod, Kannur, Kozhikode, Shoranur Junction, Thrissur, Ernakulam Town, Kottayam, Chengannur, Kollam Junction and Thiruvananthapuram Central. This is the first Vande Bharat Express train for Kerala and the third Vande Bharat Express train for Southern Railways. It is operated with train numbers 20633/20634 on 6 days a week basis.
It is the thirteenth 2nd Generation Vande Bharat Express train which has been designed and manufactured by the Integral Coach Factory (ICF) under the leadership of Sudhanshu Mani at Perambur, Chennai under the Make in India initiative.
The 20633/20634 Kasaragod - Thiruvananthapuram Vande Bharat Express (via Kottayam) has 14 AC Chair Car and 2 Executive Chair Cars coaches.
The 20633/20634 Kasaragod - Thiruvananthapuram Vande Bharat Express (via Kottayam) operates 6 days a week, covering a distance of 586 km (364 mi) in a travel time of 08hrs 05mins with average speed of 73 km/h. The train can go as fast as 180 km/h. However, this speed is not possible in Kerala in the current situation. Currently, the maximum speed between Thiruvananthapuram and Kayamkulam(Alappuzha) will be 100 km/h. It can only travel at a speed of 90 kmph from Kayamkulam to Ernakulam whereas the speed will be 80 kmph on Ernakulam-Shoranur route and 100 to 110 km/h after Shoranur.

Stoppages: The Thiruvananthapuram to Kasaragod Vande Bharat train will start from Thiruvananthapuram Central at 5.20 a.m. It will reach Kollam at 6.07 a.m., Kottayam at 7.25 a.m., Ernakulam Town at 8.17 a.m., Thrissur at 9.22 a.m., ShoranurJn at 10.02 a.m., Kozhikode at 11.03 a.m., Kannur at 2.03 p.m. and finally at Kasaragod at 13.25 p.m. It will stop for just two minutes at all stations, except Ernakulam where it will stop for three minutes.
The return train from Kasaragod will start at 22.35 p.m. and reach Thiruvananthapuram at 14.30 p.m.
