Steve Flato: "K465", a modular synth interpretation of Mozart's "Dissonance Quartet" in a Just Intonation microtonal tuning (Centaur by Kraig Grady).
This contains both th adagio and allegro sections. Rather than remain totally faithful to the material, I approached it as source material to bend and sculpt to my will. Oscillators glitch, clouds of grains appear, warbly tape artifacts float in and out, etc.
Instruments/modules used: FH-2 for MIDI to CV, Disting NT for quantization & calibration. Oscillators are Dixie II+, Mangrove, and two sides of the Schlappi Three Body. Various filters, most notably Klavis Grainity on the 1st violin part. Envelopes from Quadigy.
