First, we celebrate College of Business students who took first place in the Intermodal Association of North America’s national live case competition and highlight a recent supply chain class visit to Taylor Logistics, where students gained firsthand experience inside the facilities.
Then we sit down with Dr. Shawn Mauldin, Director of the Adkerson School of Accountancy, to discuss rising enrollment, the school’s nearly 100% job placement rate, and the role of internships and graduate programs in preparing students for long-term career success.
We also welcome Chip Hoover, alumnus and chair of the Accountancy Advisory Council, who shares his MSU story, reflects on the importance of internships, and explains how alumni support—through scholarships, mentorship, and recruiting—continues to strengthen the school for future generations.
