The Horseshoe Bend Rafting Trip on the Colorado River is one you'll never forget. Travel upriver for about 10-miles and enjoy the spectacular scenery as well as the wild animals, we saw wild horses and big horn sheep. You'll pass by fishermen and women, kayakers and other boaters enjoying this wonderland. You'll board the raft at Lees Ferry, head upstream passing by the infamous Horseshoe Bend. On the cliff above, about a thousand feet high, are people peering down from the observation area. The bend is 270-degrees, pretty spectacular. At Lees Ferry, you may see other rafters preparing to head downstream, they pass through the Grand Canyon. A permit is required for this section; however, you don't need a permit to go upstream from Lees Ferry. Enjoy!
