For many years we signed up for and swam the one mile Labor Day pier swim in Oceanside, CA. Once you sign up, you then have to train. When the ocean is warm, we train at a surf spot called Swamis, not far from our home in Encinitas. Note: This was 3 days after Robin Williams died. Thanks to Kimo for the videography!
