SACRED Roman Well of NYMPHS

Who doesn't love a water nymph deity? In this film we're off to Hadrian's Wall and the fort of Brocolitia to try and understand the story of Coventina - celebrated there for over 250 years.

This fort on Hadrian's Wall is probably best known for the astonishing Mithraeum there, but Mithras was not the only pagan deity worshipped there. We're talking nymphaeums and Coventina's Well.

As well as visiting the site of the well - er - we also take a look at some of the astonishing finds discovered there in 1876.
