Yī Fēi: Xiǎo Hóng? Zhēn de shì nǐ ma ？
Yifei: Xiaohong, is it really you ？

你不是在国外吗？
nǐ bú shì zài guó wài ma？
weren’t you abroad?

小红: 一菲？好久不见！
Xiǎo Hóng:  Yī Fēi? Hǎo jiǔ bú jiàn!
Xiaohong: Yifei, long time no see!

一菲：对啊！都两年没见了！你一直都不在这里。你怎么回来了？
Yī Fēi:  Duì a! Dōu liǎng nián méi jiàn le! Nǐ yī zhí dōu bú zài zhè lǐ. Nǐ zěn me huí lái le?
Yifei: yes! It was two years! You were not here. What are you doing here?

小红：嘘！。。。我这次回来谁都没告诉，连我爸爸妈妈都不知道。
Xiǎo Hóng:  Xū! … Wǒ zhè cì huí lái shéi dōu méi gào su, lián wǒ bàba māma dōu bù zhī dào.
Xiaohong: Shh, I haven’t told anyone that I am back this time, not even my parents.

一菲：啊？为什么啊？
Yī Fēi:  Á? Wèi shén me a?
Yifei: huh? Why’s that?

小红：我妈妈马上要生日了，我想给她一个惊喜！
Xiǎo Hóng:  Wǒ māma mǎ shàng yào shēng rì le, wǒ xiǎng gěi tā yī gè jīng xǐ!
Xiaohong: It’s gonna be my mom’s birthday soon and I want to give her a surprise.

我真想看看她看见我的时候，脸上会有什么表情！
Wǒ zhēn xiǎng kàn kan tā kàn jiàn wǒ de shí hou, liǎn shàng huì yǒu shén me biǎo qíng!
I’d really like to see her look on her face when she sees me!

一菲：哇！真棒！她一定开心死了！！！那你会待几天啊？
Yī Fēi:  Wa! Zhēn bàng! Tā yī dìng kāi xīn sǐ le!!! Nà nǐ huì dāi jǐ tiān a?
Yifei: wow! That’s so cool. She must be thrilled! How long are you staying?

小红：我这次请了年假，准备待两个星期。
Xiǎo Hóng:  Wǒ zhè cì qǐng le nián jià, zhǔn bèi dāi liǎng gè xīng qī.
Xiaohong: I took my annual leave this time and will be staying for two weeks.

一菲：那太好了，我们也可以约饭了！
Yī Fēi:  Nà tài hǎo le, wǒ men yě kě yǐ yuē fàn le!
Yifei: Great, then we can hang out (and eat together).

小红：那必须的！我这两周都在，到时候发消息给你。
Xiǎo Hóng:  Nà bì xū de! Wǒ zhè liǎng zhōu dōu zài, dào shí hou fā xiāo xi gěi nǐ.
Xiaohong: Absolutely! I am here the next two weeks and I am gonna text you.

一菲：好，那你快回去吧。下次告诉我叔叔阿姨看到你是什么表情。
Yī Fēi:  Hǎo, nà nǐ kuài huí qù ba. Xià cì gào su wǒ shū shu ā yí kàn dào nǐ shì shén me biǎo qíng.
Yifei: Okay, then you should hurry back. Next time tell me what expression Uncle and Auntie had when they saw you.

小红：好，我会用手机拍下来的！再见。
Xiǎo Hóng:  Hǎo, wǒ huì yòng shǒu jī pāi xià lái de! Zài jiàn.
Xiaohong: sure, I will film them with my phone. See you.

In the building:

小红： 爸爸妈妈，你们在家吗？我回来了！
Xiǎo Hóng:  Bàba māma, nǐ men zài jiā ma? Wǒ huí lái le!
Xiaohong: Daddy mommy, Are you at home? I am back!

小红：妈妈，你们在哪里啊?
Xiǎo Hóng:  Māma, nǐ men zài nǎ lǐ a?
Xiaohong: Mom, where are you?

妈妈： 小红，我们在越南玩呢，你怎么打电话来了？
Māma:  Xiǎo Hóng, wǒmen zài Yuè nán wán ne, nǐ zěn me dǎ diàn huà lái le?
Mom: We're on vacation in Vietnam, why are you calling?

小红： 啊？ 我在家门口呢！我回来了！你们什么时候回来啊？
Xiǎo Hóng:  Á? Wǒ zài jiā mén kǒu ne! Wǒ huí lái le! Nǐ men shén me shí hou huí lái a?
Xiaohong: What? I'm at the front door! I just came back! When will you return?

妈妈：我们现在刚到，大概还要两个礼拜呢。。。
Māma:  Wǒmen xiàn zài gāng dào, dà gài hái yào liǎng gè lǐ bài ne....
Mom: We just arrived here, probably need another two weeks...

小红：啊？那我现在去哪里啊？啊！一菲！
Xiǎo Hóng:  Á?? Nà wǒ xiàn zài qù nǎlǐ a? Á! Yī Fēi!
Xiaohong: Then where should I go now? Ah! Yi Fei!

一菲，一菲，我能不能去你家啊！！！
