Roman Road to Massive Lost Settlement

Tracing the Roman road known as Wicker Street across wild moors, we arrive close to the massive, lost settlement of Ewe Close. It's on private land, but we have drones, LiDAR and Google Earth. And then close by - this time on open access land - another Romano British settlement, called Ewe Locks.

In this film we discuss both the road and the settlements, along with the name - Wicker Street - and its connection to Charles II.
