Christians aren't the only religious group that stigmatizes masturbation, but I'm responding to a Christian YouTuber, so any Christians in the audience are probably going to feel a little called out. There is no reason for any religion to stigmatize masturbation, and it's always bad to try to justify your weird fixations using misunderstandings of science. Be better than that.
When I was making this video I didn't realize that one of my favorite ex-Mormon YouTubers was doing a collaboration about masturbation in the LDS faith. They go into a lot more detail about the harm from the dogma, so if you're interested, I recommend checking out their video:
