With anti-platelets covered, it's time to look at a related class of drugs, anticoagulants. These also influence blood clot generation but through different pathways. These target the generation of fibrin and thrombin from their precursors, fibrinogen and prothrombin. This will require learning about the very complicated clotting factor cascade, so let's get to it!
