We had unseasonably warm temperatures in the middle of February, so I talked my wife and daughter into doing chores for me and I took off for Southeastern Oregon for a quick, overnight trip.
I camped along the banks of the Owyhee River in a very beautiful spot and drove through an incredible canyon to get there. Other than a few head of cattle, I was alone in the wilderness for a night, and that is hard to find these day.
My Alaskan Camper performed top notch. I stayed very warm, used the stove, stayed out of the wind and snow and slept very well. I couldn't be more pleased or excited.
