This is a compilation of my bands during my time at College of Music in Mainz 2011-2016.
These were my first tiny steps as a professional musician.
Stylistically reaching from Jazz to Funk to Fusion.
The challenge was to learn and play the music of bands that shaped a certain era, get to know the history behind the music and re-arrange the music for different band settings.
Playing original music from singer & songwriters came later when I moved to Mannheim to pursue my master studies at Popakademie Baden-Württemberg in Mannheim.
This video is just a great piece of memory and I wanna encourage everyone to film your practice, rehearsals and gigs. Video is such a powerful medium to reflect on your playing and the development of your musical taste and musical decision making.
