Last year it was advertised as a French "brocante", which means a lot of professional resellers joined in. This year it was pretty much back to a vide-grenier, that is, an attic-emptier, a kind of village garage sale where everyone brings out whatever they're trying to get rid of, be it old farm tools like two-person saws, miners lamps, old sleds, vases, lamps, jewelry, piggy banks or toys, etc. And of course there's the people (and pet) watching! Depending on what you're looking for, this can be the best place to hunt for vintage finds! I've found lots of things here in the past, from furniture to paintings.
