09.07.25 "Ending the Slavery in the State of Florida" with Rev. Tony Ponticello

The State of Florida became the sanest state in the USA last week on September 3rd. The Florida Surgeon General, Joseph Ladapo, made a stunning announcement. He said Florida with the support of the governor's office (Ron DeSantis is the popular Florida governor) would now start rescinding ALL the vaccine mandates in the state. The short, less than 2 minute, announcement was very emotional for Doctor Ladapo. He repeated that the state was eliminating "all of them" (the vaccine mandates) 7 times!

This means that soon young children will not need to be vaccinated to attend public schools. "You really think a small round pellet or some fluid pushed into your veins through a sharpened needle will ward off death. – It is insanity that thinks these things." (WkBk.76.3-4) Our society has been literally mandating insanity. Please, before people attack me, understand that I am just pointing out what ACIM itself says. It is ACIM that says these things are insane. That teaching didn't originate from me. It always surprises me when people harshly criticize me for just pointing out what ACIM actually says.

Understand also that Florida is not doing away with vaccines. People and parents can still choose to take them or give them to their children, it's just that they won't be FORCED on the population via coercion. I hope that other US states soon follow Dr. Ladapo's and Governor DeSantis' lead.

In his short announcement Dr. Ladapo equated vaccine mandates to SLAVERY. He said, "Every last one is wrong and drips with disdain and slavery." IS equating vaccine mandates to slavery too extreme? Personally I don't think so. If a person doesn't have body autonomy then what is he but a slave? If I am not free to decide what I will, or will NOT, inject into my own body then I might as well be livestock. That's how the government in combination with the medical establishment often treats us – like cattle. We exist for their benefit, their "cash cow" – literally.

I have followed Dr. Ladapo for several years even before he was Florida's Surgeon General. He is a very distinguished, handsome, and obviously intelligent person. He is a Nigerian born African American who came to the USA with his family at the age of 5.

In his short announcement he also talked about body autonomy and God. "Your body is a gift from God. What you put into your body is because of your relationship with your body and your God." For those of you who will say that the body is not a "gift from God," I remind you that we are told many times in ACIM that we need to re-perceive the body and the entire world. We are told that God so loved the world ("body" and "world" can often be used interchangeably) that He gave it to us. If God gave it to us then it is perfectly appropriate to call it a "gift."

In another place we are told to start our healing by perceiving the body as a temple. "Perceiving the body as a temple is only the first step in correcting this kind of distortion. It alters part of the misperception." (Tx.2.45) ACIM's teaching about the body and the world is not as black and white as many think. "Kudos" to Dr. Ladapo and the state of Florida, now the sanest state in the Union.
