The Best DIY Case Setup for Videographers

Today’s build project was a fun one. I finally tackled something that has been annoying me for months: reorganising my hard cases. Instead of digging through boxes inside boxes, I’m making custom padded dividers using corrugated plastic and neoprene to give every camera, lens and accessory its own home.
It is a simple DIY but it will transform how fast I can load in, pack down and protect the gear I use every day. I even had some help from the kids while working out the layout which made the whole process fun.
The end result is a modular case setup that fits the FX3, FX 30, A7III, lenses, accessories and leaves room to evolve. I will post more photos once both cases are finished, including the audio kit build.
