Since the 1990s, the Monarch butterfly’s population has declined by more than 80%. During this first webinar “Saving the Monarch: Improving Habitat for the Future,” Barb Bolan from the Wild Ones SE MN Prairie Partners Chapter will share strategies to improve prairie habitat to benefit the Monarch and other pollinators. Funding opportunities available for planting native will also be discussed. This series is offered in collaboration with the University of Minnesota-Extension and is the first webinar in the CRWJPO's Land to Lakes Virtual Learning Sessions.
The virtual learning sessions “Land to Lake Lectures” will continue throughout the fall and into the spring with a different topic each month over the lunch hour.
