Diesel Heater Install in Our Off-Grid Bunker — Will It Actually Work?

We’re testing a diesel heater in our off-grid bunker to see if it can actually heat the space and help keep our battery bank warm. In cold weather, temperature matters — especially when you’re relying on solar power and stored energy to get through winter.

In this video, we walk through the setup, what we’re trying to accomplish, and why keeping the batteries at a safe operating temperature is so important for an off-grid system. This is a real-world test, not a sales pitch — just us experimenting, learning, and sharing what works (and what doesn’t) in our off-grid setup.
