🚇 Q-train is now serving the Island Line! A first operation day compilation of the new MTR Q-train

Since early November 2023, the new Q-train has started running on the Island Line for testing during operation hours at night. After 2 months of testing, the train was finally in service on 2024/01/28, but it wasn't as grand as the one on the Kwun Tong Line in 2022. Every time a Q-train starts operation, an M-train will be retired and decommissioned, especially the first batch of M-trains that was made in the late 70s. The M-train still has 1-2 years to run on the Island Line.

由2023年11月初起，港鐵新列車Q-train開始在港島線上測試，並開始在晚間非繁忙時間試車。經過兩個多月，港島線Q-train已經在2024年1月28日投入服務，這次首航車沒有像2022年觀塘線那時隆重。每當一列Q-train投入服務，就會有一列港島線的M-train退役拆解，尤其是港島線有很多70年代末製造的第一批M-train，港島綫M-train將剩下1-2年時間運行。
