NOOSE outfits despawn if a player is detected. There is however a phenomenon of ‘soft’ detection and this too will cause NOOSE outfits (and fire outfits too, as shown here) to disappear. To prevent this, take out the second guard you encounter as you come up the stairs very fast, or preferably, from behind.
